Mohala i ka wai ka maka o ka pua
Unfolded by the water are the faces of the flowers.
This Hawaiian proverb reminds us of healing, cleansing and growth.
After all the heavy rains that have been falling all Winter,
we begin to see many flowers blooming in Spring.
We are like flowers, and as we tend to our well-being,
and we water our dreams, grow our skills,
develop our gifts and talents in this life,
we begin to bloom and open our petals
to show our true colours to the world around us.

There are many ways that water comes into our lives.
The water can be a cleansing water of spiritual energy
that comes from the Divine, and through our Higher awareness,
washes away all that does not belong energetically, mentally, and physically.
The water can be emotional, as we open up to deeply feel our emotions
that are lying under the surface of our conscious awareness.
These feelings begin to well up inside of us.
As the body releases the energy,
it can feel like a storm when they erupt out of us,
after being held inside for so long.
We may feel waves of emotion wash through,
and tears of release may come as we process these feelings.
This emotional water is purifying,
cleansing away the bitterness we have held inside.
The water can be our love, as we share this energy with others,
we wash each other with loving waves of energy.
By caring in this way for others, by giving and receiving love,
we wash away the fear and hurts of the past, and we heal.
By giving your love to another, you see that others begin to radiate and grow.
They reach up to the light, to grow into better versions of themselves.
We can water ourselves with our own self love.
The self love comes from our High Self,
our wise, loving spirit, that can draw upon the infinite energy of source.
When we open up to our own unconditional love for ourselves,
we open a channel of energy, like water flowing into our being,
that fills our cup to overflowing.
We can breathe this love into our hearts,
and allow self love to wash over us, wash through us,
like a shower of liquid light.
As we bathe ourselves in this spiritual water,
our true face can be revealed to us,
and we can express our authentic selves to the world,
and share our gifts and abilities without fear.
Each of us is a flower, each with its own unique colour and beauty,
that has been created with intention and love.
It is up to us to take care of our garden,
and to enjoy expressing our essence with others.
